Missed collections

If your wheelie bin has not been collected it could be for one of the following reasons:
  • It was not put out early enough. The wheelie bin should be out by 6am
  • It was not put in the right place. Please leave bins out at the kerb with the lid firmly closed for collection.
  • Not the right collection day
  • Your recycling bin is contaminated with rubbish such as food waste or garden waste or contains plastic which is not a plastic bottle.
If you haven't done any of these things then you may have been accidentally missed, in which case we can arrange to return and empty your bin. Please contact us within one working day to report a missed collection.

You can either phone the help line on 01784 451499, or complete an online form and email to customer.services@spelthorne.gov.uk.  To report a missed collection by e-mail, please complete the form below.

Please contact us to be added to the assisted collection list. You can either phone the help line on 01784 451499, complete an
e-form or e-mail customer.services@spelthorne.gov.uk.
