The Housing Advice Centre is run by the Council's Housing Needs Section and is located at the Council Offices, Knowle Green. An officer is always available during opening hours to give advice to visitors about any housing problem. They can also advise callers about housing options and about the Spelthorne Housing Register which is operated jointly with all the Housing Associations in the Borough.
Private interview rooms are available for more complex or confidential matters, but it may be necessary to make an appointment for this.
A large selection of free leaflets about all aspects of housing are on display.

Spelthorne Rentstart is a registered charity which helps homeless single people and childless couples aged 18 and over, on a low income and with a connection to Spelthorne. Their aim is to access rented accommodation suitable for such people's needs. They offer housing and benefits advice, assistance with finding accommodation, tenancy support and a guarantee deposit bond.
