Spelthorne Borough Council are currently working on a project to develop skate parks and other youth facilities across the Borough.

This has been made possible by a £2,135,000 grant from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister through the Liveability Fund., which aims to provide facilities for young people in six parks.  The parks included in this project are:
Each of the parks will have new facilities developed to benefit all users, with dedicated areas and facilities provided for youths.  Facilities could include sports courts, skate parks, meeting points, adventure play equipment, a BMX track and more.

Construction of the first skate park in the Lammas was completed on 28 September 2004 and the park is now open to the public.
