MEND (‘Mind, Exercise, Nutrition, Do it!’) is a national programme for children age 7-13 who would like to adopt a healthier lifestyle. It’s free and fun and will help children become fitter, healthier and happier!

We do not currently have funding to run the full MEND programme.  We are however, running a MEND Graduate scheme which is a free programme that aims to gets kids aged 10-15 years healthier and fitter.  The weekly session helps families to learn more about living and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  Parents session which includes nutrition and tips on keeping the family healthy.  Kids exercise session, fun games and activities which will take place at the same time.

31 October to 12 December 2011 on Mondays from 6-7pm at Bishop Wand School, Laytons Lane, Sunbury

Places are free but must be booked, so if you are interesed in attending call Helen on 01784 446433 or e-mail leisure@spelthorne.gov.uk. Visit www.mendprogramme.org (external website) to find out more about MEND
