Local businesses have the chance to benefit from the multi million pound spend in and around Heathrow airport.  The BAA Heathrow Meet the Buyers is an annual event which gives local companies face-to-face sales meetings with up to 60 key local buyers of their choice.

BAA Heathrow are staging this event in order for local companies to benefit from the significant opportunities created by Heathrow Airport.  Over the last ten years the event has generated £70M of income for businesses in the region and offers an extremely cost-effective way of generating new leads and customers.

The Meet the Buyers event works by bringing together a group of 60 buyers who all have a large annual spend over a wide variety of goods and services and are committed to local procurement.  The event reverses the “traditional exhibition” so it is the buyers not suppliers who have stands.  Suppliers are given a list of all the buyers along with their detailed purchasing requirements and then actually select their own sales appointments.  This means that local businesses will get guaranteed face-to-face appointments with buyers of their choice.

Companies interested in details of the event on 26 and 27 November 2008 should visit www.heathrowairport.com/meetthebuyers
