The Spelthorne Walking for Health Scheme will be introducing some Saturday walks into their programme.

The walks will take place on Saturday 27 September in Sunbury and Saturday 18 October in Shepperton.

The short walks, suitable for adults only, are 1-3½ miles in length and are  designed for beginners. All the walks are led by volunteers.

Walks also take place on weekdays throughout the year.

Walking is a good way to make you feel good and give you more energy. It can also help to reduce stress and blood pressure along with many other health benefits. It also provides a chance to meet new people and make friends in a fun and safe environment.

Please wear loose fitting clothes and comfortable shoes.

More details are available from Leisure Services on 01784 446433.
