Every property shown on the Valuation List for this Borough will receive an annual bill which is usually issued in March for the following financial year commencing 1 April. Every ratepayer has a legal entitlement to pay their annual liability by up to ten monthly instalments.

If the ratepayer changes during the course of a financial year the annual liability will be apportioned on a pro rata basis based on the number of days of liability. The number of instalments available to new occupiers may be less than ten according to the number of months remaining for that financial year.

The Council recommends payment by Direct Debit and the attached
instruction can be completed and returned to the Council.
