| Aims | This strategy sets out the Council’s approach to capital investment, both in terms of the capital assets it already owns and also in terms of the development of new assets. |
| Overview | The Capital Strategy provides details of the Council’s priorities for capital investment, its assessment criteria, financial resources and Capital Programme. |
| Links | This strategy sits alongside the Financial Strategy, and underpins the achievement of the Council’s Community Strategy and Plan. It cannot be viewed in isolation but brings together a raft of other strategies, including the Asset Management Plan, Procurement Strategy, Leisure, Electronic Government and Older People Strategies. |
