Survey FAQ's
| Date | July 2009 |
| Aims | A number of changes had been made to the day centre service over the past few years and the council was keen to find out how each centre was operating, including users' main reasons for visiting, what activities they enjoyed taking part in, what new activities they might like to see and their overall satisfaction with each centre. |
| Methodology | All current day centre members on the council's database were sent a copy of the questionnaire. |
| Response Rate | Some 64% of users responded. |
| Findings | The results confirmed users were generally very satisfied with the centres, with some 93% indicating that they were either very or quite satisfied with the centre they used most often. Some 96% of respondents also indicated that staff at the centres were helpful and 85% felt that the food was good. There was however limited interested in some of the suggested improvements being considered by the council at the time, including weekend opening hours and breakfast menus. |
