This department deals with all processes relating to the administration of Elections and with Electoral Registration.  We hold Borough Elections every four years, with all council members up for election at this time. We also deal with Parliamentary, European Parliamentary and Surrey County Council Elections, and would be required to administer any referendums.
Electoral Services also deal with postal and proxy vote applications and the issue of postal ballot papers at election times.  The electoral register is a list of the names and addresses of everyone registered to vote in the Spelthorne area and it is published on 1 December each year.
