Text message for Spelthorne Borough Council customers.

This new service allows you to send text messages to the Council anytime day or night while you are out and about with your mobile phone.

The Council is continually looking at ways of improving services to its customers, including extending the methods in which you can contact us and in turn we can contact you. With this in mind we have recently introduced a mobile phone text messaging service.  This service will enable you to contact the Council regarding such things as:-

  • Abandoned vehicles
  • Fly-tipping
  • Graffiti
  • Refuse Collection
  • Vandalism

In fact we will be happy to hear your views about any services that the Council provides.

If you would like to take advantage of the new text messaging service all you have to do is register, all we need to know is your mobile phone number your name and address. You can either complete the Text Messaging Registration Form, or simply send a text message (SMS) to 07717 985157 stating that you would like to register for this service, quoting your name, address including post code.  You will then receive a text message confirming your registration.

If you want to stop using this service, for example if you are moving outside the Borough, all you have to do is simply text us stating that you would like to discontinue using this service and your details will be deleted from our system.
