Food training Level 2 Awards in Food Safety

Designed for anyone working in a catering, manufacturing or retail setting where food is being handled

What does the course consist of?

The course consists of six hours of tuition followed by a short 30 question, multiple choice examination. Candidates will need to get a score of at least 20 to pass the course and to receive a certificate from the Charted Institute of Environmental Health. An oral exam can be taken for those people who have difficulty reading English.

How much does the course cost?

The current cost is £80.00, which includes a workbook and Chartered Institute of Environmental Health administration and examination fees. Group and onsite training fees are available on request.

How do I book a place on the course?

Please complete the booking form (Pdf 133kb). Payment can be made by cheque or credit card. When booking, please inform us if you require extra assistance. Examination papers may be taken in a different language but there is an added cost.  Please contact us for more details.

On the first day of the course all candidates MUST provide two passport photos and original photo ID.  Acceptable photo ID is a passport or driving licence.
