Aims This strategy sets out the Council’s approach to capital investment, both in terms of the capital assets it already owns and also in terms of the development of new assets.
Overview The Capital Strategy provides details of the Council’s priorities for capital investment, its assessment criteria, financial resources and Capital Programme.
Links This strategy sits alongside the Financial Strategy, and underpins the achievement of the Council’s Community Strategy and Plan. It cannot be viewed in isolation but brings together a raft of other strategies, including the Asset Management Plan, Procurement Strategy, Leisure, Electronic Government and Older People Strategies.
