| Aims | Corporate Targets enable the Council to monitor its performance and assess progress in achieving long term objectives. |
| Overview | Each year the Council reports on its achievements against the previous year’s targets. In 2004/05, we adopted a balanced scorecard approach to service planning. This provides a framework to help translate overall strategic aims into action and ultimtately allows us to develop a set of performance measures that clearly link to the key strategies and priorities. |
