The Community Plan
In July 2005, the second community plan for Spelthorne was launched by members of the Local Spelthorne Partnership (LSP) including public, private, voluntary and community sector representatives.

Its aim is to join up the work by organisations both individually and in partnership to achieve the vision for the Borough. The Community Plan now underpins all the Council's own strategies and activities.

The Spelthorne Community Plan 2005-2015 sets out the vision: “To make Spelthorne a safe, healthy, inclusive, prosperous and sustainable community”

It has targets relating to the following six themes:

  • Safer Spelthorne
  • Young people's Spelthorne
  • Getting around Spelthorne
  • Healthy Spelthorne
  • Thriving Spelthorne
  • Learning Spelthorne
