The Place Survey provides information on residents’ perceptions of their local area and the local services they receive.
At the end of 2008, Spelthorne Borough Council and Surrey County Council surveyed a random sample of 2,500 households across the borough to find out from residents what makes a good place to live, what most needs improving in the local area and views on local public services.
This was part of a national survey and we are using the findings to see how well we, and our partners are delivering local services and what needs to be done differently in the future.
