Spelthorne Residents' Panel
Spelthorne’s Residents' Panel is managed on behalf of us by NOP Research. It was originally set up to consist of a representative sample of 1,000 residents in the Borough and has been surveyed regularly to seek the views of residents on a range of different issues.

Recruitment

The panel was first set up in June 1999 and was recruited using telephone interviewing and a sampling methodology based on random digit dialing. The Panel was 'refreshed' in 2002, to replace those members who had been lost over the past three years and to ensure the panel did not become over 'conditioned'. More recently, the Panel has been used to target specific groups of people about particular topics.
