Mystery Shopping

Aims The Council regularly takes part in mystery shopping exercises to help monitor and improve the service its provides for customers.
Methodology The Council takes part in the Local Government Mystery Shopping Exercise carried out by Mystery Shoppers Ltd, but with an increased number of mystery shops.
Main Findings The last mystery shopping exercise was carried out in January 2007 and mystery shopped telephone calls, emails, web enquiries, letters and visits.
