Role of the Planning Committee

The Committee is responsible for planning and development control on a day to day basis.

Terms of reference

The functions relating to Town and Country Planning and Development Control as specified in Part A of Schedule 1 to the Local Authorities (Function and Responsibilities) (England) Regulations 2000 (the Functions Regulations) and the powers relating to the preservation of trees and to protect important hedgerows listed in Part 1 of the same schedule.
