Purchasing the Electoral Register
There are two versions of the Electoral Register.

The Full Register can only be purchased by authorised credit agents and contains the details of all electors.

The Edited Register can be purchased by anyone and for any use including marketing purposes.  As individuals have the right to opt out of this register, it only holds the details of approximately 38 % of the electorate.

The cost of the register for a paper copy is £10 plus £5 per 1,000 names. The cost in data format is £20 plus £1.50 per 1,000 names. The total cost will depend on how many names appear on the register for the area you are purchasing. The Edited Register can be purchased from us for the whole of the Spelthorne area or just a small area such as a polling district.  This cost is set out in law under the Representation of Peoples Act and is set for the whole of the UK.

For further information on purchasing the register please contact the Electoral Services office by telephoning 01784 446238 or 6232 or by emailing electoral services.
