Street parties

Street parties are a traditional part of community life.

If you would like to hold a street party, use the simple form here to let Spelthorne Council know about your plans - especially if you wish to close a road for the event.

You might be eligible for a small grant to help make your street party go with a swing.

Contact community.safety@spelthorne.gov.uk and put Street Parties in the subject line. You will be contacted and asked for details of your event, which will determine whether or not you are eligible for a grant.

The top tips tip for holding a party are

  • plan early
  • think about what you want to achieve
  • get in touch with us at least 4-6 weeks in advance

More helpful tips, advice and support for organising a successful event can be found on the Streets Alive website and The Big Lunch website.
