Clear plastic bags

You can collect up to ten clear plastic bags from the Council Offices or Community Centres free of charge (for use with textiles OR small electricals)

Flats

Where possible we collect textiles from flats. If you are included, textiles will be collected from your communal bin store area on alternate weeks.

Charity donation

We work in partnership with L M Barry to collect and reuse your textiles. A proportion of the money raised from the collection service is donated to a local charity - Manna Food Bank received a donation of £800 in 2017. The charities chosen for 2018 are CREST Cancer Support and Home-Start Spelthorne, who will each receive a donation of £400. Following your votes, the chosen charity for 2019 is Princess Alice Hospice. You can vote for the 2020 charity on our website in June 2019.
