Spelthorne Borough Council collects the data of those residents who wish to receive an audio or large print copy of The Bulletin, our Borough magazine.

You are asked in the front of the magazine (in print and online) that if you wish to receive a large print or audio version to call or email. The legal basis we are relying on is consent as, when you subscribe to this service, you are giving explicit consent to the processing of your data for one specific purpose; to send out the Bulletin to your home address or email (if specifically requested). The purpose of The Bulletin magazine is to provide you news that you have confirmed would be of interest, or of benefit.

Your personal data (name, address), is processed when you give your consent to receive future editions of the Bulletin magazine, unless email is explicitly requested. You will continue to receive these copies until such a time you wish to unsubscribe.

The personal data you have supplied will be destroyed upon you unsubscribing from the receiving large print or audio copies of The Bulletin.  If you would like to unsubscribe at any time, please email l.king@spelthorne.gov.uk or call 01784 444260.
