Bulky waste collections

Bulky waste collections will resume on Monday 18 May 2020 with a restricted service.

Please note:

  • you may be asked if you have been in contact with anyone showing signs of COVID-19 in your household
  • social distancing must be adhered to
  • they will try to keep time slots of AM (9am - 1pm) or PM (12 - 4pm) for collection Monday to Friday
  • Items must be left in an easily accessible place outside the property or in the garage on the morning of collection day (no exceptions will be made; the team will not enter the household). They have the right to refuse collection if this is not the case and no refunds given
  • a maximum of up to eight Items

Collections are made by the Surrey Reuse Network from Monday to Saturday.

Arranging a collection

Arrange a bulky waste collection online

  • email providing your name and telephone number
  • call 0800 082 0180 and press option 3 (do not press option 2), if there is no answer, leave a message and they will call you


The cost is £50 (including VAT) for up to five items, £75 for six to eight items. For more than eight items, please call Surrey Reuse Network for a quote.

There is a discounted charge of £40 for those on income support or pension credit.

Items that can be collected

The Surrey Reuse Network will collect large household items eg washing machines, fridges, wardrobes, tables, sofas, beds and mattresses from inside your home (please do not leave them outside) and reuse or recycle them, even if they are broken.

Items that cannot be collected

Garden waste, building rubble, hazardous waste, kitchen cabinets, windows, baths, pianos, fixtures and fittings.

If you have items that are rubbish and are not suitable for reuse or recycling, contact our Neighbourhood Services team for a quote or take them to the Community Recycling Centre (tip).
