Privacy Notice Spelthorne Council

The Council is obliged to collect and handle information about individuals in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). 

Individuals have various rights under the above legislation.

Spelthorne Borough Council has a dedicated Data Protection Officer who supports all services within the Council in managing their information assets and complying with data protection legislation.

The Data Protection Officer makes sure the Council respects individuals' rights and follows the legislation.
