Terry Collier announced as new Interim Chief Executive at Spelthorne Borough Council

Spelthorne Borough Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Terry Collier as its Interim Chief Executive. Terry, who has served the Council for nearly twenty years, currently holds the position of Deputy Chief Executive and Section 151 Officer.

Commenting on his appointment, Terry said, “I am honoured to become Interim Chief Executive pending a fixed term appointment and welcome the chance to guide the Council through this important period. “I would like to thank our outgoing Chief Executive, Daniel Mouawad, for his leadership and dedication to Spelthorne.”

Leader of the Council, Cllr Joanne Sexton said, “I am delighted that Terry has agreed to step into the role of Interim Chief Executive, and I wholeheartedly support his appointment. He is well suited to guide Spelthorne at this critical time.”

Terry will assume the role with immediate effect, alongside his role as Section 151 Officer, ensuring continuity and strong leadership as Spelthorne Borough Council enters its next chapter. At the same time, the Council will commence the recruitment process for a Chief Executive to take the Council through to Local Government reorganisation.
