Calling all tree-carving sculptors
Spelthorne Council is seeking a talented local tree-carving sculptor to volunteer their skills and transform two trees in Fordbridge Park in Ashford into unique works of art.
As Spelthorne Council will cease to exist from April 2027 when it becomes part of the West Surrey unitary authority, this is a special opportunity to leave a lasting legacy. Your work will stand as a creative tribute to Spelthorne’s identity, history and natural features - from the River Thames to our local wildlife and heritage.
The project would be undertaken on a voluntary basis, and we’d love to hear from sculptors who are passionate about public art, creativity and community spaces.
