The Kings Award for Voluntary Service
Three Spelthorne charities have been nominated for The Kings Award for Voluntary Service this year.
This award is the highest award given to volunteer groups across the UK. It is awarded for outstanding achievement by groups who regularly volunteer their own time to enhance and improve the lives of others.
Citizens Advice Runnymede and Spelthorne, The Phoenix Project (based at Ashford Youth Centre) and Sunbury Ferry attended the reception for nominees hosted by HM Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey Mr Michael More-Molyneux CVO. Winners of the award will be announced on 14 November.
Congratulations to all the nominees and thank you for all you do in the Spelthorne community.
