Staines Masterplan public exhibition

h
On Wednesday 22 July, local people were invited to a public exhibition to share their ideas about the future of Staines town centre. For anyone who was unable to come along or those who are interested in finding out more, there is still an opportunity to view the exhibition and get involved by:
  • visiting Staines Library in-person to view the exhibition boards until 24 August 2026;
  • visiting the virtual exhibition page on this engagement hub to view the materials online and share comments via a short survey until 11.59pm Monday 24 August 2026

Why you should get involved

The Council is developing a Staines Masterplan which will set out a long-term vision for how the town centre could change and grow. It will look at areas such as public spaces, new developments and how different parts of the town work together. Feedback from residents, businesses and visitors will help shape the final Masterplan.

Anyone with an interest in Staines town centre is encouraged to take a look at the exhibition and share their views on:

  • the strategies being developed for Staines town centre
  • the ideas for specific sites in the town centre
  • key issues that may have been missed
  • their level of support for the proposals

Staines town centre stands upon the threshold of substantial growth and investment and is at the heart of a wider area of change, growth, connection and opportunity. The emerging Masterplan aims to ensure that everyone in the community can benefit from this development, providing a framework to guide the sustainable growth, design and investment in the town centre over the coming years. This is an opportunity to help shape how development meets the needs and aspirations of local people.

You can also subscribe with your email address on the home page, if you haven't already to receive updates as the project progresses and be notified of engagement opportunities.
