Recognising dedicated volunteers
Do you know someone who should be recognised for dedicated voluntary service in the Borough of Spelthorne?
The Spelthorne Civic Awards Trust invites nominations from local residents and voluntary organisations to recognise individuals who have given a minimum of 12 years' voluntary service in the Borough so that they can be considered for a Civic Award.
Candidates do not have to live in the Borough but their voluntary work should have benefitted Spelthorne residents.
The closing date for nominations is 31 January 2025.

Spelthorne Civic Award Trust recognise individuals who have given at least 12 years' service to volunteering in the Borough. In 2003 a Letter of Commendation award was agreed by the trustees. This to be awarded to those who give a further 10 years of voluntary service. Similarly in 2006 a Community Award was created as the Trustees felt that some people who were paid for their services deserved to be recognised.
