Youth awards

The achievements of 47 very special young people, aged 5 - 19, were celebrated with an awards ceremony held at Kempton Park Racecourse on Friday 19 April.

Organised by Spelthorne Borough Council, the bi-annual Spelthorne Youth Awards recognise the outstanding talents and achievements of local young people and the contributions they make to their communities. 

Each nominee received a certificate of achievement and 9 young people were selected to receive a Star Award, a glass trophy and £50 prize.

The ceremony included a new award for Environmental Achievement to acknowledge the young people working hard to make Spelthorne a greener and more sustainable borough to live, work and study in.

Nominations for the Spelthorne Youth Awards 2026 will open in November 2025.

Anyone can nominate a young person for an award and there is no limit to how many you can nominate.
