Keep Spelthorne Clean

Keep Spelthorne Clean is a community campaign which aims to encourage everybody to take a pride in Spelthorne by helping to make a difference in our neighbourhoods, town centres, parks and open spaces. As a Council we are committed to maintaining Spelthorne as a clean and green borough. We are all responsible for our environment and we are looking at ways we can work to keep our Borough clean.

The council will work with Individuals, groups, schools, businesses and other organisations across our borough and its partners in the effort to address problems such as litter, graffiti, dog fouling, and fly-tipping.

The Council will be engaging with Residents Associations over the next few months to identify some specific areas where some additional focus may be needed to tackle local issues and where the Council can help facilitate community groups to get involved in making their areas better places to live, work and enjoy their leisure time.

There is a lot of great work being done in Spelthorne by groups and individuals which we are incredibly thankful for but there is still more to do. We will highlight the good work already being done and hope to encourage more people to get involved in the campaign.

To make a real difference it needs all of us to get behind the campaign.
