STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS

The draft unaudited Statement of Accounts for 2021/22 were published on 29 July 2022, as previously reported, the Council is waiting for KPMG, our previous auditors to issue their Value for Money opinion in respect of 2017/18. Until they completed this work, which based on the latest information received is likely to be around November 2022, Our new auditors BDO LLP are unable to commence the audits for year ended 31 March 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. Once KPMG issue their Value for Money opinion and give professional clearance to BDO LLP, officers will discuss with BDO LLP, their plans for completing the outstanding audits. At present our best estimate is that the audit for the year end 31 March 2022 will be undertaken in the first half of 2024.
