Western Rail Link To Heathrow WRLtH

The Network Rail Western Rail Link to Heathrow (WRLtH) scheme proposes to construct a new 6.5km rail link between Langley Station (near Slough) on the Great Western Main Line (GWML) and Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 (T5). It formally consulted key stakeholders including the Council on its recently published Preliminary Environmental Information Report (PEIR) which detailed the likely significant environmental impacts of the proposed scheme and the mitigation measures suggested reducing these impacts where possible. The statutory consultation ran from 11 May to 22 June 2018.
