The Order comes into force on 16 May 2025 and applies to the whole Borough of Spelthorne. The order covers the antisocial use of bicycles, e-bikes, skateboards, e-scooters, hoverboards and similar devices, use of face coverings such as masks, balaclavas and scarves and possession of catapults, slingshots or similar items. Any person without reasonable excuse who fails to comply with this order will be issued a Fixed Penalty Notice of £100 or risk a fine in court of £1,000. In May 2024, a PSPO was introduced regarding the misuse of public land which covers a ban on tents or similar structures, cooking devices such as barbecues and a parking exclusion zone where taxis are prohibited from parking in Stanwell Moor and parts of Stanwell. In 2023, a PSPO which was first introduced in 2020 was extended for a further three years. It covers dog exclusion areas, dog fouling, limits for professional dog walkers, dogs on leads and carrying suitable means for proper disposal of dog faeces. The full details can be viewed at
