What does the Resource Centre offer?

The Spelthorne Resource Centre offers scrap materials to members for fun and creative crafts including card, plastics, paper and fabric. Membership entitles an unlimited number of visits for one year. We may occasionally limit the amount you can take of popular or rare items in order to give members a fair share.  We do not guarantee the supply of any material.

There is also a small art materials shop.

How do I become a member?

For information or a membership pack please contact the Resource Centre or complete the online form. Membership is available to schools, colleges, uniformed groups, playgroups, nurseries, families and child minders.

Membership fees

Educational (schools, colleges, libraries, adult education) £40
Funded (profit making groups including groups receiving large grants and company sports and social clubs) £40
Unfunded (community and non profit making groups) £24
Family (families, individuals and childminders) £12

Donations

The Resource Centre has undergone a huge spring clean, and the result is a smarter more organised hub of materials for all your arts, crafts, and hobbies. Moving forward we will maintain this by monitoring stock levels and requesting donations of items required via Facebook and our notice board outside the building. We will not be accepting donations otherwise. 

What's on

Art Open Days 2025

For families with children aged 4-11 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult. £1 per child, 50p for siblings. No booking necessary.
