Rubbish collections can be noisy and difficulties can arise in residential areas where the noise from vehicle engines and tipping can cause disturbance to those living close by.
As a council we do carry out Commercial waste collections (Spelthorne Direct Services ltd is a Council owned company) and we collect commercial waste from businesses across the Borough from 5am. Tell residents that the council discourages commercial collections before 7.30 just gives them a reason to complain about something that we cannot change.
