Planning applications information

With effect from 2 January 2020, any planning permission involving new residential development whether by new build or conversion, will be required to commence within two years rather than the normal three.  This accords with para 76 of the NPPF which allows LPAs to reduce the timescale for commencement "to help ensure that proposals for housing development are implemented in a timely manner". This is also set out as an action to be implemented in table 8 of the Council's Housing Delivery Test Action Plan, 2020.
