All Aboard Club runs monthly inclusive train-play sessions for autistic, ADHD and SEND children, where they can build their confidence, develop their social skills and just be themselves.
We provide a safe, understanding and supportive environment for the children to enjoy their trains. They can run the trains, build the track, and sort out any problems. They have boxes and boxes of trains, track, tunnels and bridges to choose from. Parents are often surprised by how relaxed, focused and calm their children are during our play sessions.
Most of the children at our events are aged between 4 and 11, but we also have older children who enjoy their trains.
What happens at a session?
All the information you need about the location, travel and parking will be in your confirmation email (see below for details on booking tickets).
When you arrive, a member of our friendly team will welcome you and check your tickets. They will show you the play space and let you know where the toilets are.
There are seats for parents, but if your child wants you to play with them, that's absolutely fine. Or you can take the opportunity to chat to other parents and just enjoy having a sit down!
When the session is nearly over, we will let everyone know how long they have left to play. At the end, everyone helps to tidy up, making it easier for the children to transition to their next activity.
How often are the play sessions and where are they held?
We have two sessions coming up at: Lower Green Community Centre, Esher KT10 8AU on Friday 1st November 2024 and Friday 21st February 2025 at 1pm - 2.30pm (other dates may be added in due course),
All Aboard Club also run MONTHLY PLAY SESSIONS on Saturdays or Sundays and over the school holidays in the other venue areas including: Sutton, Woking, Lewisham, Acton, Esher and Twickenham.
