Green Goddess

During the early days of `lockdown' in the UK, Diana Moran, the Green Goddess, was brought back to the BBC after 40 years to bring cheer to the millions of Brits who were in lockdown with her `Keep Fit and Carry On' exercise sessions on BBC Breakfast, specifically aimed at those over 65.

Diana became an instant hit and was followed by millions with her three-times-a-week sessions. Diana subsequently received thousands of requests to continue providing chair-based exercises. Diana, a Spelthorne resident and her production company 'People Matter TV' have worked closely with us to provide the exercise sessions here and on social media for the benefit of the local community.
