Lammas

Location: Wraysbury Road and Church Road, Staines-upon-Thames TW18 4XZ

The Lammas Recreation Ground is a family park right next to the River Thames. With a large picnic field, two children s play areas, a splash park that runs in the summer, access to the river frontage, tennis courts and run by The Little Green Boat Company, a café, mini golf and boat hire. Lots of benches and seating around the park and toilet facilities too. Near the entrance to the grounds there is a BMX/skatepark which is free to use.

Winter timing - 1 October - 31 March - Opening: 7.30 am - Closing 6pm

Summer Timing - 1 April- 30 September - Opening: 7.30am - Closing 8.30pm

There is a Pay and DIsplay car park, however, gates are locked overnight

Riverside Café

The Riverside Cafe is run by The Little Green Boat Company serving hot and cold drinks, selection of snacks and hot food, ice cream and ice lollies and a small variety of park toys. Open seven days April-September from 8.30am - 6pm and weekends only October-March from 8.30am - 5pm. Accepting card payments only.

Mini Golf

Mini Golf is also run by The Little Green Boat Company. New to 2021, 9 hole mini golf course which is wheelchair and buggy friendly.

Boat Hire

Boat Hire on the river frontage in the spring and summer season. A small self drive fleet of boats is available to hire for an hour by The Little Green Boat Company. Staying between Penton Hook lock and Bell Weir lock, an hour trip is perfect to see Staines from a different view and to feed the ducks and swans from the boat. Open 10am - 6pm. Prebooking always recommended but some availability on the day. All boats and times on a first come, first served basis.

Tennis Courts

Three free tennis courts in a caged area in the middle of the park. No booking needed, the courts are on a first come, first to play system. If you have forgotten your rackets, you can rent some from the Riverside Café for an hour. £8 for two rackets with a £10 refundable deposit.
