Leader and Deputy Leader of the Council
Spelthorne Borough Council is led by Councillor Joanne Sexton Leader of the Independent Spelthorne group, although they do not have majority control. The Deputy Leader is Cllr Chris Bateson, Leader of the Liberal Democrats.

The Council's administration is run by Independent, Liberal Democrats, Labour and Green councillors all working together.
