The consultation closed in 2020 the Council has exercised the power under section 59 of the Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014. The Order came into force on 2 January 2021 and applies to specific public land within the Borough. The order includes dog exclusion areas, dog fouling, limits for professional dog walkers, dogs on leads and carrying suitable means for proper disposal of dog faeces.

The order will remain in force for 3 years unless further extended by further order under the Council's statutory powers.
