Range from £1,000 to £3,500, although grants of up to £20,000 were given out in 2015. The Trust offers grants to charitable organisations working in Kent and Surrey. Grants are intended to support general charitable activities in the areas of advancement of health or saving of lives, disability, and people with disabilities. Applications can be made at any time. Grassroots organisations that seek to effect positive change within their local area can apply for between £500 and £2,000 while charities can apply for up £20,000. The Trust is looking to fund projects, which have a clear charitable purpose and show visible results within 12 months of receipt of a grant payment. The Church Urban Fund are offering grants of up to £5,000 to churches and community groups that are working to tackle poverty in deprived areas of England, particularly the underlying causes.

Funding programmes offer short and long term grants. Support is adapted to the needs of small and medium sized charities that are committed to delivering work which breaks or prevents cycles of disadvantage.
Invest grants are from £10,000 up to maximum of £25,000 a year for two or three years. The Invest grant programme has three rounds annually. The latest round - the first for 2017 is open for initial applications from noon on Monday 5 September.

The Discovery Foundation (formerly the Santander Foundation) has launched a new community programme, the Discovery Project (combining its previous grant schemes), which offers grants of up to £5,000 to registered charities, CICs and credit unions to support community projects helping disadvantaged people. Grants are awarded on a rolling monthly basis.
