Your poll card will tell you the location of your polling station or you can look on "My Account" to find your polling station.
Poll cards are sent to eligible voters. You do not need your poll card in order to vote.
No, you will be asked to provide your name and address to the staff at the polling station but taking it with you will speed up the voting process.
No, registration is compulsory but voting is not.
Once all the candidates have submitted their Nomination papers the candidates names will be shown in the polling station, on our website, at the Council Offices and on notice boards around the borough.
The Council have to remain impartial and we will not supply detail. The candidates/political parties will promote themselves.
This will vary according to the type of election but will be displayed clearly on your ballot paper.
Election results will be published on our website as soon as possible.
Only those persons officially appointed are able to attend.
