| Information | A cappella (barbershop) ladies choir always keen to welcome new members. We meet Wednesdays, 7.45-9.15pm. There is a subscription paid monthly. In addition there is a yearly association fee per chorus member of approx £40 to LABBS (Ladies Association of British Barbershop singers). We learn barbershop songs in addition to more popular music such as Thank You for the Music, Under the Boardwalk, Bohemian Rhapsody, Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend, With a Little Help from my Friends (Beatles) and Somewhere (West Side Story). There is no requirement to read music - audio learning is available. Open to all ages. We encourage ladies to come along to any Wednesday evening rehearsal to see if they would like to join the chorus. |
