Escalate Arts Spelthorne is an Arts Council England funded initiative, designed to transform how people work, design, enjoy and participate in the arts in Spelthorne. The project has been developed in partnership between Surrey County Council, Spelthorne Borough Council, Artswork and Ashford Youth Club, and aims to:

• Transform Surrey's new flagship library in Staines-upon-Thames into a 'cultural hub' for the community
• Increase engagement with arts and culture locally
• Develop creative skills opportunities and infrastructure
• Develop youth leadership in the local area

Arts Partnership Surrey is a strategic alliance of nine local councils and trusts working together to shape and deliver a cultural offering for Surrey that addresses social, economic, learning and health needs.
