Burial and cremation option:

Ashford Burial Ground offers the following burial plots:

The traditional Section: A grave in a traditional section can be prepared to allow up to two full burials. If no further full burials are required, the grave owner may request the burial of up to six cremated remains in the grave space. A fee (applicable on the date of the burial) is payable for each subsequent interment.

Lawn section: Each grave can be prepared to allow up to two full burials. If no further full earth burials are required, up to six cremated remains can be placed in the grave space. A fee (applicable on the date of the burial) is payable for each subsequent burial.

Garden of Remembrance: The Garden of Remembrance is for cremated remains. Each plot takes up to two sets of ashes. Arrangements for interment can be arranged through a Funeral Directors or privately through the Cemetery Office.

All plots have 100 years exclusive right of burial. Purchase of plots in advance is only allowed at the time of burial.

The time of an interment must be booked with the Cemetery Office. All interments shall take place between the hours of:

Chapel Service

The Chapel is available for people of all faiths and beliefs to use for funeral or memorial services. The chapel can seat approximately 40 people. An electrical outlet is available for portable music devices.
