Parking is subject to the provisions of the Spelthorne Borough Council (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2020 a copy of which may be inspected at the Council Offices. Brief details of the general provisions are as follows:
1) A season ticket does not guarantee a parking space.
2) A season ticket will only be allocated to employees of Staines-upon-Thames for use in Elmsleigh Surface and Multi Storey, Kingston Road or Bridge Street car parks.
3) A season ticket for railway users can be allocated in Kingston Road car park.
4). If the season ticket is sold as a virtual document and a physical copy is not supplied to the driver, the virtual permit present on the system will be considered valid; and there will be no requirement to display the virtual season ticket in the vehicle.
5) Season ticket holders may have up to 2 registration numbers listed on the permit. Only one of the vehicles may be parked at a time in a car park. If both vehicles will be found parked at a time, this will result in a Penalty Charge Notice being issued.
6) A season ticket must be returned to Parking Services for any amendments to the permit (i.e. new vehicle details, name change), before a new season ticket can be issued. An administration fee of £14 will apply.
7) An administration fee of £14 will be issued for replacing any lost/stolen season tickets.
8) A permit may be cancelled by the permit holder at any time. However, if the permit is cancelled once the permit period has started, refunds can only be obtained on the full calendar months remaining.
9) Reminders regarding the renewal of season tickets will not be sent. You may renew your season ticket online at Parking, travel and roads | Spelthorne Borough Council
10) Spelthorne Borough Council reserves the right to refuse issue of a permit or to cancel a permit if fraudulent information has been supplied.
11) All vehicles must be parked according to the regulations of the Parking Order 2020 which can be viewed at https://www.spelthorne.gov.uk/parkingorder
12) SBC does not undertake to supervise the parking place and will not accept any liability for loss or damage to motor vehicles or their contents howsoever caused, or injury to any person howsoever such injury is caused, unless or to the extent caused by proven negligence of SBC its representatives or agents.
