Christmas message from the Mayor of Spelthorne
Dear Residents of Spelthorne,
As the festive season approaches, I would like to take a moment to extend my warmest wishes to each and every one of you. Christmas is a time of reflection, generosity, and togetherness - a chance to celebrate with family, friends and neighbours, and to share the spirit of kindness that makes our community so special.
This year, we’ve faced both challenges and triumphs, and through it all, your resilience, compassion, and community spirit have shone brightly. Whether it’s the volunteers who give their time so selflessly, the local businesses who support our economy, or the families who look out for one another – you are what makes our borough truly remarkable.
As we gather for the holidays, let us remember those who may be struggling or spending the season alone, and continue to reach out with the warmth and care that defines us. May your homes be filled with peace, joy, and the laughter of loved ones.
On behalf of the entire council and myself, I wish you a very merry Christmas and a safe, healthy and hopeful New Year.
With warm regards,
Cllr John Doran, Mayor of Spelthorne
